Apep Books was founded out of a lifelong passion for books and a fascination with the diverse worlds of occult and esoteric literature.

Based in Germany, Apep Books is an independent online bookstore bringing together carefully selected publications from independent publishers and authors from around the world. Our collection explores a wide range of subjects, including magic, witchcraft, mysticism, demonology, folklore, philosophy and the Left-Hand Path.

While the Left-Hand Path represents an important part of our collection, Apep Books is not confined to a single tradition or perspective. We are interested in the diversity of esoteric thought and in the many different paths through which knowledge, imagination and spiritual exploration find expression.

Particular attention is given to independent and specialised publishers whose publications are often difficult to obtain in Europe. Alongside regular editions, we also offer limited, deluxe and collector's editions for those who appreciate books not only as sources of knowledge, but as carefully crafted physical objects.
